CARF Accreditation Founded in 1966, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is a private, not-for-profit organization that promotes quality rehabilitation services. It does this by establishing standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines when developing and offering their programs or services.
In 2008, Quest was awarded its third consecutive three-year CARF accreditation, which specifically included behavioral consultation services and child and youth services. This three-year award represents the highest level of accreditation that an organization can obtain after completing an in-depth review to demonstrate that its programs and services are of the uppermost quality.
As a CARF-accredited provider, QuestKids gives you the assurance that the programs and services meet state-of-the-art international standards of performance, and that the organization is focused on assisting each child in achieving his or her chosen goals and outcomes.
Qualified Staff The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is an internationally recognized credential that indicates professional competence in behavior analysis. To become a BCBA, individuals must complete a master's degree, complete specific coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis, meet a supervised experience requirement, and pass the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) exam. QuestKids is proud to have a team of management staff and lead behavior analysts all with BCBA certification.
Data-Driven Results At QuestKids, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the foundation for evidence-based, intensive therapy for children with autism and other learning and behavior concerns. ABA is based on more than 50 years of scientific research and has been proven in countless studies as the leading method of treatment.
One of the things that makes ABA therapy so effective is the rigorous data collection that occurs every step of the way. Data are collected on a daily basis after each therapy session, and then frequently charted to demonstrate progress. Using these data, behavior analysts at QuestKids can evaluate the effectiveness of the child’s individual program, and make timely programmatic decisions that will lead to progress.
One-Stop Shop Centrally located near downtown Orlando, the QuestKids program brings a range of professionals together under one roof. A talented team of behavior therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and educational professionals work together to develop and implement an appropriate program that meets each child’s specific needs. In addition to the time and financial resources saved from not having to travel all over town for services, children and parents experience a more consistent learning environment.
